SIMPLE STEPS TO LIQUID SOAP MAKING






INTRODUCTION
Undoubtedly, soap is one of the most essential household items that humans use daily. Soap-making business is lucrative and offers reliable and constant revenue for business men and women. Different types of soap are produced daily and they include-- laundry soap, bathing soap, antiseptic soap, herbal medicated soap, detergent, liquid soap and a host of others. The methods and modes of producing them and the chemicals used are slightly different. Our focus here is liquid soap production.  

OBJECTIVES
• To inculcate the art of entrepreneurship into people
• To promote self dependence and reduce unemployment
• To eradicate poverty and promote economic development  

MATERIALS
1. NATROSOL: It makes the soap to be thick
2. CAUSTIC SODA: It is dirt remover
3. SULPHONIC ACID: Foam agent
4. SODA ASH: It is stain remover
5. FOAM BOOSTER: Foam agent
6. PERFUME: It adds and facilitates good odour
7. COLOUR: It gives soap the type of colour your want
8. FORMALIN (Optional): It is used to preserve soap
9. INDUSTRIAL (Table) SALT (Option): Prerservative and Hydrolyser (keeps from drying up)

METHODS
1. Pour Natrosol or dissolve Natrosol in water and stir for 2o minutes
2. Dissolve the Caustic Soda in water and pour to Natrosol
3. Mix Sulphonic Acid in water and add to the mixture
4. Dissolve Soda Ash with water and add to the mixture
5. Add Perfume to the mixture
6. Add Formalin
7. Mix Colour to water and add to the mixture
8. Add water
9. Allow the foam to disappear i.e. leave for at least 5 hours before use

    I am new in this field and have seen the liquid soap which is clear and transparent draws attention. How about this detergent. Does this liquid soap comes out to be clear
